We’re nearing the last few days of 2017! Have you taken time to reflect on your accomplishments? Have you thought about what your goals for 2018 are going to be? At one point in my life my mantra was “Just say yes!” Say yes to new people and new adventures and new opportunities. However, I’ve decided that 2018 is the year of “No.” I know that sounds a little strange, but I’ve decided it’s what I need to work on most. I’m a people pleaser; my knee jerk reaction is to say “yes!” or be as accommodating as possible. I am going to work on saying no to things that I don’t want to do and pushing back when I don’t agree or most importantly, saying “no” to people who don’t deserve my time and energy. It’ll be easier said than done, BUT I know it’ll be worth it!! Getting in a gym routine is always a great resolution, but make sure you pick a few goals that address your physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional self as well. I’m super pumped that I’ll be at the @bodybuildingcom booth for the LA FitExpo!! Make sure you come by on January 6th or 7th! We have a bunch of sick things to give away! #BestSelf #BuildYourBody #NewYearNewGoals #2018 #Bodybuildingcom . . . . . #teambbcom #Teambodybuildingcom #fitspo #fitgirls #fitglam #earnednotgiven #noexcuses #Ifbb #npc #npcbikini #musclecontest #fitnessmodel #aesthetics #fitnessgurls #booty #strongissexy #sexy #girlswholift #bootygains #squats #growbootygrow #progressnotperfection

Why do you compete? That’s a question I get all the time, especially since I have a full time corporate career. Often that question is followed by “You’re crazy!” or “I could never do that!” I compete for me and me alone. I compete to give my workouts a purpose. I compete to feel strong. I compete to look good naked. I compete to feel confident in a power dress. I compete to give my life routine and structure because I am more successful in all aspects of my life when I am “in season”. I compete because when I’m prepping I eat clean and when I eat clean my skin looks better, my brain works better, and my body feels better. I compete because I love getting glammed up and showing off all my hard work. I love competing because I love meeting other people with the same passion as mine. I compete because it could potentially inspire others to think about their health and body. I compete for me. So why do you compete? You should be able to answer with a laundry list of things! Because at the end of the day, this should be FUN. That’s what life is all about 😉 I am proud of my hard work and the physique I brought to the @musclecontest Los Angeles Championships!
